Ann 1 was born in Ireland in 18222. In 1850, she and her husband were living with their two oldest daughters in Orland, Illinois. at the time, Fields (age 30) and Silvia (age 25) Brisbane were also living with the family.

In 1861, Ann and her family were living in Victoria, Canada West. Their home was 1.5 stories and the family religion was Baptist.

By 1880, Ann and her family had returned to the United States and were living in Sigel township which is located in Huron county, Michigan. Her occupation in the census records was listed as "Keeping House." She also suffered from "eye disease."

Ann died sometime before 1900.3

1Some Ancestry.com family trees list her maiden name as "Reid." Others list it as "Brady." I have not yet found conclusive evidence to support either claim.

2The 1822 birth year is calculated by subtracting her age listed on the 1850 census from 1850. Because her birth date is unknown, this date could be a year off.

3The 1900 census lists her husband as being widowed.
