In 1628, the same year that Mary Marvin was born, William Harvey published Exercitatio Anatomica de Motu Cordis et Sanguinis in Animalibus [An Anatomical Exercise on the Motion of the Heart and Blood in Living Beings] which described the circulatory system.

(1628-1713)

Mary Marvin is the seventh great grandmother of Rachel Wilcox Liberacki.

Mary Marvin was baptized on 15 December 1628 in Bentley, Essex, England.1 She emigrated from England and arrived in Boston in 1635.

By 1648, she was living in Hartford, Connecticut. This is the year she married Richard Bushnell of Saybrook. After her marriage, she removed with her husband to Saybrook and lived there until Richard died in March 1658/59.

The following year, Mary married Deacon Thomas Agate; a widower with two daughters from his first marriage. The family lived in Norwich, Connecticut.

Thomas died on 21 July 1707. Mary continued living in Norwich until her death on 29 March 1713.
